Coworking space Workuity to open a second location in Valley

Phoenix-based coworking space Workuity announced it is planning to open its second location in the Valley next year, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.

Its first location, located on Camelback Road and 24th Street, opened in May 2017.

The new location will be in Chandler, near the Chandler Fashion Center.

It will be larger than the Phoenix location, spanning about 20,000 square feet. There are plans to expand it by another 10,000 square feet by next summer.

The new location is expected to open in February, and interested businesses and individuals will be able to start reserving space in November.

The Phoenix Workuity’s 250 seats are full and there is no room to expand, resulting in the need to open a second coworking space.

Besides workspace, Workuity offers its members a lounge area, free beer and coffee bar, free conference room rentals and networking events.

The Chandler location will have 62 offices, six conference rooms, two large private cubicles and an event space with a theater room.

At the Phoenix office, plans for private offices that can accommodate up to 10 people start at $800 per month. Dedicated desks for individuals start at $300 per month, and “flex desks” start at $225 per month. There are other more flexible plans available that start at $50 per month.
