Love Shark Tank? Then you’ll also love Expose UX, a web show where startup founders seek help from user experience experts. Even better news—in August, Expose UX is coming to Phoenix.

During Expose UX’s first season, entrepreneurs had several minutes to pitch their ideas and businesses (usually tech-based) to the show’s panel of UX experts. The rest of the episode made way for questions, comments, and constructive criticism. In the end, the entrepreneur left with a better direction for his or her product.

Expose UX is taking its second season cross-country by filming individual episodes in 25 major cities. This time, each episode will feature five local entrepreneurs who each have 30 seconds to pitch their products and two minutes to demo them. Once all five entrepreneurs have presented, the judges will pick a single winner to receive the Expose UX Prize Bundle. The stakes are infinitely higher.

This season’s judges include Dean Barker, Tonia Bartz, and Jonathan Mann. Barker is VP of User Experience at Optum, a leading supplier of healthcare software. Bartz is UX Research Lead at Honeywell Aerospace. Mann is Director of User Experience at PayPal. All three judges will be touring the US with Expose UX, ultimately pulling winners from a pool of 125 founders.

The show also plans on hosting an additional two events in each city following the end of their nationwide tour. In September, Expose UX will arrange a season two premiere screening in each city they filmed with. Early 2017 will bring a networking and panel event featuring the experts from Phoenix’s episode.

Expose UX will be filming in Phoenix on August 23 at co-working spot Mod. The event begins at 5:30 PM for VIP guests and 6:30 PM for free attendees. VIP tickets are on sale now at Expose UX’s Phoenix episode website. If you can’t make it to the filming, don’t fret! Expose UX will edit and release full-length episodes online in mid-October.
